The no-show errors in this section have been eliminated

- many apologies for not spotting them earlier!

This part of the website has been created in order to add further information to "The Rose Window" by Painton Cowen and published in November 2005 by Thames and Hudson. It is very much a "work in progress" situation - information and images are gradually being added.

There are over 1200 examples here from all over the world. Many windows that are not in the book are shown here. Some have been discovered from the internet - sources and, where possible, the photographers have been named. The idea is to accumulate photographs and information on as many examples as possible, so any photographs of missing windows are welcome (and will be credited!).

Thanks in particular to Gerhad Brueckel for allowing me to use a number of photographs: his website: http://www.kathedralen.net
