rose windows lies in these two windows at Laon cathedral. The north rose (l) features the Seven Liberal Arts surrounding
Philosophy - the love of Wisdom - at the centre. It could only be studied when the 7 Liberal Arts had been mastered.
Philosophy - Wisdom - is portrayed as a woman with a ladder up to her head - to the mind.
