The Secret of the Rose Why a secret? It is about finding one's self - the real self: someone who senses that they have so much to give but have not yet found the way to do this. A great rose window can help here. Most of us are shadows of what we might, could and perhaps should be. We might be very effective shadows, enjoying ourselves, making large amounts of money, in positions of power, or even famous and in the newspapers every day. But even these 'successes' can be a huge distraction from what we could really do that is constructive and helpful. "All the world's a stage And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts... Shakespeare: As you like it For most of us however life is just a matter of slogging along and making ends meet - in a rapidly deteriorating planet filled with semi-truths and blatant untruths. But the secret is - I give it away! - we are all born to be a genius if you but knew it! In fact genius is the wrong word. What people often call 'genius' is not just intelligence and cleverness but someone who has actually broken through to their real self - and in so doing begins to release and develop talents that they did not even realise they had. And they do it by working on something that is truly needed for other people and/or for the planet, and even for the future of mankind. The breakthrough can happen at any age - even in one's 80s!
