The East window

The story of St Laurence is recounted in 27 panels. Although very restored by David Evans in 1832 - many of the panels are his - it is believed he copied the surviving scenes faithfully, although the originals would seem to have disappeared. The window reads l. to r. and top to bottom starting below the tracery lights at a4:-
