Windows s8 and s9 on the south side have a fine collection of late C15 (1490s) donor figures, in fact the Asheton family. Of the same age are the 19 (20?) St Helen penels on the south side, possibly from the workshop of Richard Twygge and Thomas Wodeshawe (see Tattershall and Malvern Priory). They usd to be in the east window and the church was originally dedicated to St Helen.
