Although the facade dates from the C12 the rose dates from after 1266. The pillars and some of the surrounding carved animals and figures date from the C12. Remarkable transennae panels echo earlier primitive windows. The number of petals -11 - is very rare. (There is also a C13 rose at the east end - no photo)
